Lawrence Sperry is a Principal member of Vertical Staffing Solutions' leadership team. Prior to Vertical Staffing Solutions, Lawrence worked as Director of Health Center Operations for Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri. Before working in Healthcare Administration, Lawrence managed the medical search and direct hire division for one of Kansas City's largest recruitment and staffing service firms. A trusted advisor in Kansas City’s healthcare community, Lawrence has served on the Board of Directors for Greater Kansas City Medical Managers Association.
Anne Jinks, RN, MS, J.D.
Vice President, Risk Management
Before joining Vertical Staffing Solutions, Anne served as Vice President of Administration and General Council for KVC Health Systems and previously served as Chief Counsel and Director of Legal Compliance for one of Kansas City's largest managed care companies. As a former acute-care Registered Nurse, Anne assists with Recruitment Strategy, Risk Management, and Operational Oversight.
Brittany Flippin, MBA

With her previous experience in Medical Practice Billing and Healthcare Management, Brittany prides herself in understanding our growing needs and objectives. Brittany works closely with our clients and vendors ensuring efficient, quality service. Brittany is responsible for Client Services, Quality Outcomes, and Employer Relations.
Mary McGraw, AA
Operations Manager
Mary McGraw joined the VSS team after spending nearly 30 successful years with Midwest Nephrology Consultants, PA. In her Human Resources Director role, Mary oversaw talent acquisition, employee vetting, and onboarding for Midwest Nephrology Consultants. Mary specializes in placing niche specific clinical and patient support positions. Mary’s extensive medical practice experience offer unique insights into the medical recruiting and talent acquisition arena. Respecting both the employer and candidate’s needs, Mary truly believes skilled employees are a company’s biggest asset. With that in mind, Mary vets the highest possible talent for her clients.
Hannah Tarwater

As a Non Profit Leadership Studies major at Rockhurst University, Hannah Tarwater serves the role of Intern at VSS. She uses her past experience from working as a PRN assistant at a specialty clinic to help VSS with talent acquisition projects, social media, and database inputting. Hannah is excited to learn more about the HR and job recruiting fields as she continues her studies in Business.

Where are most of our openings located?
Our primary concentration of clients and openings are in the Kansas City regional and metropolitan areas. However, we also provide recruitment services for providers throughout the heartland including Iowa and Nebraska.
