Midwest Nephrology Consultants, P.A. was introduced to Vertical Staffing Solutions several years ago when VSS was a newly organized staffing company.  MNC has used many staffing companies over the years and in general, the overall success in getting quality candidates has been pretty much a 50/50 proposition.  VSS made the same promises that all the rest of the staffing companies have made and we signed on expecting the standard results.  To our amazement, VSS lived up to their promises – ethically and actually.  They have never put candidates in front of us to interview that were “only” standard or substandard – just to get a body in the door.  We have had an over 85% success rate with placed candidates turning out very well and staying.  Other firms are 50% or below.  In addition, if any candidate fails to work out, VSS makes it right.  Their fees are equitable but most importantly, they really do care about Midwest Nephrology and will “lose” a placement rather than put a body in to collect a fee.  I can speak with the principal at any time and consider this company is a long-term vendor partner for us.
